I have a genuine set in my facelift Cupra. They're alright for a set of mats, nothing to write home about. Perhaps a little pricey. Only problem is that the anti-slip lugs attached to the floor in the front of the car don't line up with the holes in the mats. I'm not too bothered, one lug is attached to each mat which stops them from moving around. They are plain black, as is the rest of the car's interior (seats, headliner, door cards, centre console, dash etc), so a bit of colour would be nice I suppose.

If they are genuine , how come the holes don't line up ?

Probably designed for a Pre-FL - The diameter between holes is different on the FL models

thanks guys, noticed last night that Halfords do a set of fitted mats that look ok, £44 so about middle of the road price wise.

I bought these:

You can choose the trim colour... I went for red:

Holes line up perfectly. You can choose the thickness of mat as well.

Edited:
They've changed them I think now... these are the alternate ones they do:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Seat-Leon-FR-2008-TO-2012-Fully-Tailored-Car-Mats-Black-WITH-RED-TRIM-4-LOGO/201435782590?_trksid=p2141725.c100338.m3726&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20150313114020%26meid%3D8a900875d53241bb9cfd532169f7d29f%26pid%3D100338%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D13%26sd%3D191699056626

I used carmats4u.com the £25 set, pictures on the which blue Alor or Apollo thread. I'm happy, not bothered about no badges.

I'm not fussed about having a logo either, function over form for me. The OEM replacements I bought middle of last year are poor quality and the drivers side wore thin very quickly. Very disappointed.

I got a set of facelift genuine mats on eBay new from a dealer for 25 delivered. Bargain I recon. Much better than the aftermarket set that were put in as part of the deal when I bought the car. (I can't get on with heel pads and all the after market ones seem to have them.)

Can anyone recommend a good set of mats for a facelift FR please?

Need to order some.

Are genuine seat ones any good?

Waiting for my Leon FR, so I've spent £20k inc loads of options and it doesn't come with Mats?

Seriously there's nothing on the floor?

Yep, unless you negotiate they don't give em to you. I took my set through when I picked up the car. There are thicker ones for an extra tenner.

The boot protector is a great deal too.

I stumbled across the genuine mats on eBay, ( the thicker quality with full rubber underneath ) for £20 and snatched them at that price, should have been £80 from dealer. Will be coming out soon though as hopefully upgrading to a mk3 fr this week.

With them not fitting your new mk3 you might be able to recoup all your money (or more) selling on Gumtree, then go for one of the sets mentioned above. Original poster might be interested, but think you'd struggle to get more than £20 seeing as you disclosed cost price!

I'm not particularly fussed. Didn't have the intention of messing about to sell but if anyone is interested get in touch. Will also have the armrest for sale around £100. Not giving the dealer any extras that I've bought for the car

I did the same with my Zafira, took the mats out, they lay in the garage and eventually the rubber perished and had to bin them. So this time I recouped some money on Astra ones and that went towards the new ones. Is your current motor the facelift mk2?
