S3 alloys are good - used to have them ;)

Filter and bigger intake pipes are a must really...

Lots of fuel in it!

How the heck did I manage to get 53 litres of fuel in it tonight

I thought it had a 45 litre tank

Normally it starts to click-click at 42 litres if I have not run it too dry!

How did you take the stickers off mate? Im facing the same prop.. Is it just to heat the letters up with a hairdryer an peel them off?

Really simple actually and a great mod too!

1. Used hot water first and poured some over the badges.
2. Then used an old credit card to get each letter off. Use more hot water to ease getting them off.
3. Then you are left with the glue. I used a tar remover spray to ease getting it off.
4. You can either do lots of scrubbing with a sponge or clothe which is the hard way OR (as I found out) using a rubber (pencil eraser) is really effective at getting it off and much quicker.
5. Used some more tar remover to get the last bits off and you can see the final results above.

I have heard that you have to be really careful when using a hairdryer, so that you do not damage the paint! The hot water worked a treat!

I AM SO STUPID. Just read the post again and you said stickers!

The stickers were even easier. Just pealed them off and was left with some sticky bits around the edges. Used the tar remover (spray on and leave for a couple of minute) to loosen the bits and then rubbed them oiff with a cloth. So simple but looks way better! Then polished the glass with glass polish. :D

Thanks mate. I meant both the stickers and the letters on the back. So your not stupid! ;)

Im from Denmark so im a little confused about the "tar remover".. Im not sure what that is..
Can you explain it to me so I can go ahead and buy some?

Im thinking about removing the letters today! :D Im doing a Cupra project on my 1,4 Ibiza.

I already fitted the front Cupra bumper and rear lights. The back Cupra bumper is getting painted next week. I also got the Cupra pedals and such, just need to mount them. :)

Will the window cleaner be able to remove the glue if I scrub it with a sponge/soft cloth? :)
