My brother has recently purchased an Approved Used 2005/55 SEAT Altea 2.0 TDi Sport DSG. He's had a few issues with it and I volunteered to drop it to the dealers for them to work on it tomorrow. Anyway, I was looking at the brakes which appear to be shot to hell (pic below) and I noticed cracking in the tyres (its present on all of them). Went along to KwikFit and he told me the tyres were dated April 04 and are basically dangerous due to this cracking. So if you've got Dunlop SP9090's 225/45ZR17s i'd have a good look at them..........
Anyone care to comment?
Now to me that dont look too healthy
Anyone also care to comment on the state of these brake discs?
VVV Rear VVV
VVV Front VVV
Any suggestions on how to deal with this gratefully received.
