try as I may, its power is what it is.... 447bhp max.... nothing left for it to give.
Reduced boost slightly and maintained the power @ wheels, more boost did not make for more power.. so less is more.. but plenty none the less in an ibiza.

    finished mapping now.. thankfully

apexi gear limit stuff to do now.. then done

Have you been out on the road with it yet bill?

With the boost coming in that late traction isnt that bad an issue as you are already moving pretty fast.

What boost have you finished up with? Any logs yet to email me? lol. :)

The engine looks like it's trying to break free on full throttle! Strong engine mounts???

I have a VT race front mount on order for it now.. the fast road one is'nt cutting it
25-26psi is what I have settled on as max boost. more does'nt do nowt for power, just lifts torque slightly midrange.

On its ported smallport this is all it wants to flow..
for those who claim huge numbers from smallport heads I have to ask how they think they flow to achieve them, because this one does'nt and its a flowbenched ported head, and is flowing what the engine/head builder says is its max.

on the road on friday when sean brings the tax up, so apexi trimming then..

The ported smallport must surely flow better than an OE largeport however Bill?

not a chance - they just do not perform in my experience vs a bog stock largeport.
largeport i can run far more ign advance in comparison...

i spoke to the guy who ported the head and built the engine, and this heads flow limit is being realised by the power its made.

maybe its a question of degree of course.
slap on a largeport over wasting time on porting a smallport is the more sensible approach to me.

sounds too awesome :( had 1st noise complaint from factory opposite
    pansies!

anyone who know's the area where I am its a very busy industrial estate with tanker lorries thundering 24/7, and a few acceleration runs and they get all "precious" about their designers being distracted..

It is louder than most cars that have been here tho, so to be fair its unusual and its been on the dyno during the day quite a lot these past 2 weeks, fettling it.. They will have a fit when badgerwagen goes onto the dyno for intense dyno session!

as for noise tho.. FFS, some people!
