Cheers J400 mate,

Will give the link a go.

The unit I've bought off ebay is a 2009 produced unit with V8 maps uploaded. It was previously in a pre FL MK2 Leon. after reading this thread, I was 1/2 expecting issues. I have the large MFD in mine the white display. but no issues whatsoever (except it being too big to push all the way back lol)

I take it I just need to cut out the plastic bit that juts out (dead centre of the back of the stereo apperture) Dont want to end up butchering the car too much :)

mines fitted now.

Just one or 2 little things

1. I cannot skip tracks/stations using << >> on the left hand side of the steering wheel
2. The Track/Station wont display on the MFD

The above happened with the old stock head unit

3. The Nav instructions don't display on the MFD

I'm assuming these are VAGCOM coding issues and fellow SCN'er MJ - the REVO specialist has kindly agreed to pop to mine on Saturday to see if these can be activated

One little feature I stumbled across, while I was playing about

If I press the mic button on the left hand side of steering wheel and say the command 'navigate to' the ladies voice says 'the name please'

I'm assuming that if you have specific POI's saved or a home location saved you can set the navigation off using the voice control......

Can antone else confirm this is correct?

Looks good. Went to fit mine today but realised it needed a safe pin after trying to power it on. Works as we were fitting a Sony xds-701bt into my mates R32 and tested it with his quadralock.

Very very tempted to sell it now and get the 701bt or 601bt unit as his impressed me and looks very oem unlike most aftermarket double din units

My coding is : 0E0004000402002100
I don't have any clock shift issues. This is with the red MFD, i.e BAP not enabled.

Media system 2.1 315

I have a Media System 2, 315 in my Freetrack. The speed limits are shown in MPH but the distances are shown in Kms. Is there anyway of changing the KMs to MPh? Any advice would be welcome. aggie
