Hi all,
Picked up a dash cam today for my Ibiza and I was just going to have it plugged into the 12V. However, the 12v socket seems to always be live. Want to move away from the hassle of having to remember to plug it in when I get into the car.

Would you mind taking a look at my fuse panel and letting me know what the best fuse to piggy back on would be. Don't have a multi meter so just thinking you guys could lend a hand.

Got the layout from someone else here, I think anyway. It's back the front but it seems right.

Any help would be great.

Sorry about the silly links. Not allowed post photos at the moment.

I doubt there is an easy option for you. I would connect a dashcam to the cigarette lighter, in your case it is #49 and install a hard wire kit with low voltage cut off (battery discharge prevention). This is the set up I use on my Cordoba 2003.
