Headlight adjusters, are they both motorised?

Yes they are. They only move when the headlights are on.

It's most likely that the adjuster has got a bit gunged up. A liberal application of WD40, followed by cycling the adjusters up and down a few times, usually sorts it.

Well i haven't mentioned the 3rd secret choice which comes into play if i have to increase my commute next year which is a Jag S-Type diesel. The other two are only viable if i stay living where i am and the next job (or current job with better pay) is close by. Also the other option is something else entierly + a house at a distant location.
