Just done autoheadlights in my Leon, you will have a few issues! Side lights are two wires one for each side of car so you need two conections from controller but if you short them then seperate park lights wont just put one side on!! second issue may be that if your controller has no delay on it as you drive under trees and light falls light turn off then on after tree then on again for next etc etc! To solve first issue you need two diodes one in each line from controller to each side light wire so they are isolated but joined!

If you see what i mean?
Cure for second issue I think will be a delay circuit so if light turns on it stays on for 10 mins ish or until car turns of, if light level fluctuates low it will stay on as a constant. I have a circuit diagram for this and bought the bits but yet to make it (mon or tue).
not sure of wire colours but I am goin to have to get inside dash again to fit and test new circuit so unlesss someone gets in first I'll get em for you some time in the week ok? If circuit works I'll let you know!

What with weather n stuff not had a chance to open dash again yet sorry! Issue isnt with park lights it with them flashing on n off as you drive along! I hope the circuit I'm makin will cure this! This is circuit is was used for in car pc but should drive lights ok! have changed a couple of values for ease of supply but all bits are easy from maplin, if it works I'll post parts list! if not i'll regrow eyebrows n try again! Sorry Scotty nothin to see really just a small lens sunk flush in back of boost gauge pod!!

nah mate not seen that, Ill search! but mine fitted now just a little add on and bingo!

so what colours we looking at, and did you loop the wire across to both left and right from the sensor switch or did you ise relays so you can still use the parking light function

used two 1n4001 diodes so park function still works! Not finished add on yet so not been in dash again but you'll be first to know in the mean time could just do as i did and find which wires go 12v when lights switched on there are two for side inc rears and one for dipped mains!

hi guys, i have recently bought the led headlights for my car but unfortunately i have change the wire of my previous lights. The LED headlights have 11 pins therefore 11 wires that connected with the headlight. My halogen headlight have 8 pins at the end. I don't know where I can find the connector plus the right wires in order to proceed with the installation. Please advice me guys.

Thank you in advance
