Headrest / Overhead DVD

Hello All. Willing to install headrest DVD system (did it before in my previous car) and I would like to ask few questions:
1. How to access from seats to run wires (standard cloth)
2. Is there +12V somewhere under the front seats (manual ones)

Am about to install myself, for the 12v, I will take it from the cigarette lighter at the back of the center console, there's space underneath to nest cables.
My main concern is how to remove the seat upholstery to run the cables through.
Any help appreciated.

Cheers!!!

change of plan

Hi All!

After an extensive research, I have decided to install an overhead DVD unit.
Bought it brand new from eBay for £139, installation took me few hours.

Happy with the results; great picture quality - can't fault it.

No more fighting in the back during long journeys; kids are using wireless IR headphones.

Would recommend to copy movies to SD card (I have about 20 on ours - saves juggling DVD's). Please note that you have to convert your movies to MPEG with AAC sound (1000 x 568 resolution) if you want to watch them from SD/USB.

All the best!

<how to I insert pics here??>

I have used the aftermarket one. Best value for money.

Also found out that there are 2 predrilled holes in the roof support beam so unit is fixed perfectly!
