Health check & fuelling adjustment??

Just plugged in the vag com and cleared some running issues. Whilst it was plugged in I decided to check a few other known parameters. Here are the results,

Injector reading 12&3 below 0.5, no4 0.7 - Nothing major, I'll leave it for now.

Cam timing position - minus 2.9 - According to the forums this requires adjusting to read 0 +/-0.5. I'll have a look at this.

I'm a little confused why the ross tech website says there is no need to adjust cam timing on PD engines but it appears to be well documented elsewhere. Can anyone explain this?

Also I've seen a fuelling value adjusted in the measurement blocks from 0.6/L to 0.4/L for better economy. This was done by moving the second camshaft position. Can this be adjusted on my engine (I'm sure mine only has single cam).

Is there anything else I can look at regards to improving MPG as atm its hovering about the 40mpg on motorway runs.

Cheers Andy
