Hi guys,

I've recently bought an MK4 Ibiza 1.2. I've had couple of problems with it but I've managed to fix it.

However I have a new problem. Long story short, when I turn the heating on, it will only blow hot air if the heater is turned all the way up. The speed is working fine its just if I turn it down to lets say 22 it will blow cold air forever.

I deducted that it shouldn't be any blockage and it seems like that the temperature sensor is doing its job.

That leaves that the heater flap control is broken or faulty. Now through google research I've found it that it should be under the drivers side. I wonder if anyone came across with it and help me point it out where it is.

I think its somewhere near the gearbox channel, but the question is how will I get to it as I am not sure how to take the plastic off? Does it just clicks off? Do I need to unscrew some screw maybe? Any help would be appreciate it!

Please seat forum, you are my only help!

hazarding a guess you need to track and fix ( reset ?) the control module first --I have no idea, is it situated in the control facia pane ? then I would think most of you other problems would be solved p.s. V68 I think is a common and recuring fault code even when it works
