Hello everyone,
Just wanted to give a brief introduction about myself. I'm Tarek Elsakka, a 20 year old Egyptian currently majoring in Political Science and minoring in English and Comparative Literature at the American University in Cairo.
I have previously owned a 2008 Nissan Tiida (Versa) and a 2010 Mazda 3 but unfortunately totaled both cars. Yes, I am, or was, a speeder, and hopefully I'm not going to make those same mistakes. It's kind of hard not to speed when you're that young, but I've had enough of that crap.
I came across this forum by doing a web search, and ever since then I've been lurking around because I wanted to buy a new car and SEAT seemed like a reputable brand to me, especially after driving my friend's 2010 Ibiza.
Recently I decided I'm buying the Seat Leon and am hopefully picking it up in a couple of hours tonight.
I hope I'm going to make friends and engage in nice conversations and debates here in the forum without ever getting into useless online arguments.
I also wish to learn some tips and hear some advice about maintaining and taking care of the Leon while driving it in those screwed up roads of Cairo, haha, and possibly also modifying it to be a better car than it already is.
