i have lowered my mk1 leon on g-max sports shocks and springs by 20mm and i keep catching the ground every where if i take the car out on the back roads and get the speed above 40 i keep grounding it out! i have mud flaps on my car and i think it is them some time but i think it is the sump cover more

has any one else had this problem?

i am planning on taking the sump cover off but will this affect the noise? :cartman:(i know its a deisel) or the air flow at high speed?

any help welcome please

Are you sure its not just your mudflaps?

20mm's not really alot, ive had mine lowered 40mm all round and it doesnt catch even when pressing it about 50-60mph down country lanes

only catch the front lip in multi storeys and on speed bumps

As for the noise, my mate has removed his cover on his MK4 Golf GT TDI, and it is very loud, like a tractor lol, so not sure what yours would sound like
