Help!! Mirrors don't fold when locking car and passenger window doesn't auto touch

Hi Guys,

It's sods law isn't it. The car behaves itself during it's warranty or most of the time anyway and then when it goes outside it's 3 year warranty it acts up.

For a long time when locking the car and holding down the lock button it would fold the mirrors in.

Now it's not doing that, but also linked to this problem is that the passenger front window isn't going down on "one touch". Instead you have to keep your fingers on the button to get it to go down, unlike the other 3 switches.

For a few days the above feature worked then now it's gone again. Any tips I can try, apart from changing the battery in the key fob as that has been changed?

Look forward to hearing the advice or if any of you have had the same problem?

Just checked the coding on OBD11 and I think there is a menu item that shows folding mirrors on / off might be worth a look to see if its been turned off.

Thats a helpful video. Never knew you could do that, I thought it had to be plugged into a VAG Com to be reset. I shall give it a go tomorrow mate. Cheers

The window reset will cure both problems - they're directly related and is no problem.
