I purchased a Cupra R ('03) about 4 weeks ago and after just getting back from Chicago for 3 weeks, and unfortunately the bearings in my turbo have failed. I'm hoping someone is able to recommend either a good place to purchase a turbo (Recon prefferably) or somewhere i could possibly get it rebuilt.
Have been shopping around online and see mixed reviews everywhere i go which is putting me off a bit. Currently been quoted £1,100 for a Recon turbo + labour charges, this includes a 12 month warranty but as i'm moving out to the states in 6 months i'm quite reluctant to spend this sort of money.
Any advice is appreciated, cheers.
