Fitted cupra bushes to front console today on my ibiza, but the LIDL ratchet strap does'nt want to push it in ,as soon as the spigot hits the sides thats it. Can anyone recommend another strap for the job! Also im guessing you cant get the new new bush perfectly orientated, so its usual for there to be some give to make the wishbone spigot go in,also the wishbone goes in at an angle because you can't line up the balljoint and front bush bolt holes until the spigot goes in correct?Suggestions please!!

OK, all done now, seemed that i needed a 'heavy duty 2 ton ratchet' to slide the wishbone in without any probs.
Now goona do the other side this weekend.

Would have been much easier to take off the console and fit the wishbones in off the car then wack it back on. That's what I did when I couldn't get in using the ratchet. So much easier.
