help with excel and graphs please!

hi all,at last got myself a laptop and able to use my cable.now i have done a test log and saved it in excel, eg ,i am able to see the readings for actual and spec for the maf.its then i get a little lost and need help with excel pls.

i can highlight the two colums and click on graphs but what option do i then choose and proceed on?

if any one could take the time in helping or point me to a place to get basic help i would be happy.

I don't know the english names but there's a function [accessible thru a button at the top toolbar, with a bar graph on it] that makes doing graphs very easily, just click on it and follow the instructions,,, mind you the yanks have done it so it should be foolproof,,,

I think you probably want the XY option.

That will plot one of your colums against the other.

eg rpm v requested pressure etc etc
