Help with fitting a new stereo

Ahhhh I am going mad....
Guys have not got a clue about this... I have a 04 plate seat altea , its got the standard strero fitted in the dash and I have just bought a touch screen all singing pioneer to replace...

WIRING!!!

Problem is that I cant seem to get the power supply correct to fire the bad boy up, I have a wiring loom to connect one to the other but it does not seem to work and I have checked all the fuses and when I plug the origional stereo again its fine so I am stumped...what I really need is something to tell me where I am going wrong. Pref with pictures ha ha ha...

Theres no ignition line! i had to get the switched 12v from the fuse box...

Need help please with my altea people iv seen a stereo I want double din it's out of a scirocco 09 reg same as my mates Octavia stereo with DVD screen and built in sat nav also in golf aswell I know il need the fascia plate adaptor from seat I want it to look like a factory fit just wondered if anyone else had tried this I think the stereo I want is called Rns 510 please help

hi i havnt done that partcular one in you should be able to get a facia surround from dave at sere motors his info is on the forum

have a peek at my messing about thread and see if that can give you an idea or 2
