Help with music titles please

Hi all, after owning my car for over a year I have found the button on the steering wheel that lets me display CD info on the dash next to the rev counter. However the track names are only shown as "Track 1" "Track 2" etc both there are on the head unit.
Is there a way to have this displayed properly with the song title?

I think its dependant on the cd, are they ones you have made yourself?

Yes they are. I see what you are getting at. I will try it with a genuine CD

I am sure there is a way you can burn the title info on the cd, but its been a while since I burnt one

Yes, you can input Artist and CD title when you burn the tracks. I have burnt my own MP3s and the artist and titles come up on the display.

yeah i think that needs to be included in track info when burning the CD.

How do u get the track info to show up by the rev counter?

I have sorted it now folks cheers. I burned the CD with files as mp3 and it shows all the track titles and artist great!
These also show up on the information screen (where the fuel consumption etc is) when you press the right hand arrow on the right of the steering wheel.

Depends on which MFD screen you have I think

Very few purchased CDs have cd info on them, I think I own one.

Best to rip to mo3 and use tags
