Hi,

I've recently ordered an Ateca as per my signature and looking forward to owning my first ever Seat. I currently drive a Ford Kuga but the newer models seem very underspec'd for the price.

Needed to get an automatic as my left knee has been giving me a lot of trouble over the last few years so I am counting the days until I get my new car and get rid of the manual gear box.

Welcome to the Seat family

What model Ateca are you getting? If you’ve never driven aDSG gearbox before you’re in for a little treat. I love mine in my Leon CUPRA and won’t be going back to a manual.

Hi Maypack

I've have gone for the Xcellence Lux 2.0 TSI in Velvet Red.

I am 100% positive once I make the switch I won't be going back to manual either.

I used to work as a valeter and drove autos frequently but never considered owning one. Until now...

I'm annoyed though that they have removed Traffic Jam Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition as on the day of ordering the TJA was still showing on the website as being fitted.

Unfortunately others have had similar issues with specifications too. I hope it won’t detract too much from enjoying what is a great car with a great spec. I’m actually looking at moving up to a CUPRA Ateca when and if u decide to pass on my Desire Red Leon CUPRA.

By the way, Red is the way to go

You should look at coming along to our January meet in Blackpool. I’m sure it wouldn’t be too much of a journey for you and you’d get to meet some great people passionate about their Seat’s too. And previously being a valeted I’m sure your knowledge would help some of our car detailing guys too
