how many miles has everybody done??

ive just realised how many miles ive done in my leon! a 2001 cupra with a few goodies added for good measure. 102552 and in all that time nothing has gone wrong!except my temprature sender! except that its only had cambelt and water pump done and normal things e.g brakes and tyres.

i dont think ill ever get rid of it and i when it goes im defo getting something from the VAG family again

My 03 LCR has done 39990

Bought it when it was 13month old, so far the following non standard failures:

Climate control display failure - done under warranty
Passanger Sun visor snapped - done under warranty
Rear door lock fail (twice!) - 1st done under warranty, 2nd cost £100
Coolant sensor - not replaced yet!

Overall, not bad. Even though its done low mileage, I've had it for almost five years now and I wouldn't replace it because:

(a) its been reliable (so far)
(b) its a great car to drive and to look at
(c) I wouldn't know what to replace it with!

my 03 LC has just notched up 100,500 miles.

Problems i've had are.

engine
2 x clutch master cylinders (one replaced under parts warranty)
1 x clutch slave cylinder
1 x oxygen sensor
a few split oil breather pipes

interior
new drivers door locking motor.

Thats about it. Not bad on the whole.

44k on an 05 plate

I have had the rear washer pipe go, replaced under warranty.

Clutch slipped (due to remap, replaced with Sachs racing clutch)

My brake switch also flagged up an error & light on dash, bought a new one (£6), but cleared code in VAG COM, hasn't came back yet (9 months), so havent swapped unit.

4 Years old this year & it has been great. Breezed through 2 MOT's, even with all mods & HID's

51k 04 plate LCR

wierd issue with my interior lights coming on when braking hard but hopefully have that fixed soon.

everything else has been perfect and i absolutely love it.

I've done 33,000 in my 05 Fr.

Rear washer pipe needed reconnecting (done under warrenty)
The odd sensor needed replacing (done under warrenty)

Apart from that its been plain sailing

my 2000 1.6 8v leon i have only dun 57000 and had a couple problems like but love the car lol

My 53 plate Leon,when I got rid of it for the Mondy back in November,had done 53,000 miles.The only things I really had go wrong were-exhaust mountingsx2(once back box replaced under warranty)wiper stalk replaced under warranty and rear wiper hose popping off,also done under warranty.
Apart from that just the usual consumables.

how come everybody else has done half the miles ive done max?i got it with 24k on the clock in july 2005 and its not had an easy life but its not missed a beat.couldnt recomend one enough to people.

20k odd on an 03 LCR.

Faults:

Sticking boot lock (warranty)
N/S Front ARB bush worn and caused a knocking (warranty)
Leaky N/S Front door seal (DIY)

Touch wood...that's it!

63k on a 53 plate Leon TDi, Had a mk3 Golf that I did 160k in with no problems or breakdowns.

55 plate - 34k miles

Had it 4 months, had 29.5k miles when bought.

Problems to Date:

Cup holder broke - replaced under warranty (warranty expiry date!)
Peeling interior door handles - replaced under warranty (warranty expiry date!)
Flashing orange light when its really cold outside - common fault, normally goes off after a restart

Mods to Date:

Chrome tax disc holder
Chrome seat leon official door sill guards/kick plates

Mods to be added in near future:

MP3 H/U
HID's

Y Reg- 01 Leon Cupra had it for 14 months done 22k in that time just moved house now though so should be putting a lot less on - Now at 57k total, only problem - temp sender - dodgy wing mirror both fixed under warranty oh and potentially needs a new maf. Much cheaper than my old cordoba SX

Fix it then, very easy 1 minute fix!

When I got my 04 plate LCR in August it had done about 32,500. I've done about 4,000 miles in it since then.
