04 Plate Cupra Tdi PD150, Had it since 2006, now covered 112,000 miles

Unfortunately i have had all the common faults!

1) Turbo blown - sticky vane syndrome
2) Cam Followers wore out and took cam with it
3) Power steering pump failed and wiped out the rack with contamination
4) ECU internal power fault - Replacement ECU
5) On-going glow plug loom fault - have the spare loom just not fitted it.
6) Dual Mass flywheel replaced at 106k - nursed it along for a while with the rattle until i hear it on smoke test at the MOT, where the testing asked if i was sure i wanted him to carry on!!!!
7) Current hot start issues and slight turbo hesitation at 3000 rpm - trying to diagnose......

its still standard but only getting about 38-40 mpg.

Full Service history

Love it though! considering getting it mapped, but a little nervous considering the mileage

I've often heard when going to pay the regular £1000 plus bills at the menders that "you've been unlucky with this one, having everything that is going!"

Quite fancy having mine mapped...........anyone done this on a car with 100+k miles??? Any particular issues???
