Took my 17" SuperTs off for 16" D90s. The ride on the 16s with the thicker tyres is so much better than the crashy ride on the 17s.

Hmmmm ive been thinking about 16s but i might need to drop my car another 10mm......
Its dropped it 30mm at the moment on 17s & it sits perfect in my eyes, dunno how the 16s would look

17's for me. I dont care about ride quality.

Wider tyres and better looks for me.

When i tried 16's (keskin kt4's) on they looked like skateboard wheels.

Im with Phil, think 17s do look better on these

A few months ago i was fed up with the ride on 17s as it was so bangy etc

But after replacing ball joints and a couple of other bits including loose top mount  its miles better so it obviously wasnt just the wheels causing my hard ride.

This is the damage 17s did to my inner arches from rubbing on full lock.

On the 16s, much better. Not quite sure about Phil's comment saying they look like go-kart wheels.

I think it's a matter of opinion with looks, for Phil it's probably a must with the power he has, likewise with Bill, hence the 235 width.

Something I need to look into really to help traction once these next few days are over. My 16's have created more damage than that on my inner wheel arch so I wouldn't base your decisions on the above picture. I drive it HARD round corners...

Plus 16's are super tight on my brakes.

Running 215/40/17, would like to run 225/40 but cant see me gettin them on without a lot of rubbing.
