Hi, my rear spoiler has been loose on both sides for a long time, probably because of bad application from the previous owner, I tried to squeeze some strong double sided tape into the gaps but has never been a good solution.

Since we've been getting some really strong winds lately I'm scared of loosing the spoiler in the highway.

So today when I got home, I grabbed the hairdryer and started heating the spoiler so I could remove it also with the help of fishing line.

Although I could lift both sides a bit more the centre section is so stuck in place that I can see the spoiler flexing where the loose section meets the glued section. I think it will never fly away since it doesn't budge.

I'm thinking of buying some glue remover spray and spray it into the inside so it dissolves the glue, but i'm scared of it damaging the paint.

The fishing line doesn't even cut through the glue, it's black and very hard, not sure if it's the glue that comes with the spoiler that was used.
