How to remove wing mirror cover.

Hi,

My passenger side wing mirror been broken and needs replacing. I bought a primed one from eBay that i've painted ready, and i've got the new glass to go in as well but i want to know how to get the old cover off properly without breaking anything else.

This is probably a really easy answer, but i've not been able to find any comments or pictures detailing how to get the cover off.

Any guide/pics would be great.

I know with the tear drop style mirror covers they just prise off from the hinge side first, folding the mirror in before you do it. I assume the older style will be the same...?

Sorry i did try the search ("wing mirror cover") but couldn't find anything specific. But if it just clips up thats fine, just didn't want to force it if there's a screw hiding in there at all.
