What are these Bill, are they uprated k04 hotsides ?
yea. I had a call earlier this week and it came up in conversation that he was running one
I offer thought about a larger compression housing, but maybe at the end of the day a 35lb wheel can only flow 35lb of air, i would have thought the bottleneck is on the exhaust side of these.
this is a hotside........ being phatter it may cause fitment issues on the k04 manis tho... (I believe was the case with this one)
Ok guys, some advice plesase, i have no other mods apart from an uprated DV a silicone TIP and an ITG cone, my turbo has broke and i have the option of buying a KO4 hyrbid cheap (ish)
my question is can i run the turbo and get the remap around 260-270 bhp with low torque so it is safer on the rods?
will this cause lag??
it would be boost limited to those levels to be as friendly as possible and within injector dc
depends on exact spec of hybrid as to how it will perform... be prepared for an mbc to clip any boost spike which is likely, and again down to its Exact spec
Hi Bill, do you know the port sizes (OD) for the original 3" tip (metal one). I'm looking to cap off some of the ports (mainly N75, breather and evap system), I'll be using silicone caps so I'll put them straight over the metal barbs
