Hi All,

I currently have a 1.2TSI 90PS that I have decided to upgrade.

I wanted something a little sportier and quicker that wouldn’t hammer me on MPG or insurance (My second car)

I’m well excited about it arriving but wanted to ask will I notice a considerable difference in punch compared to my 1.2TSI?

Cheers

I would have thought so to, but being a new driver and having ever only owned 1 car it’s hard to put into real world thought haha

I went from a 2.0 TDI 150 DSG to a 1.0 TSI 110 DSG. The 'power loss' is definately noticible. With 150 PS if you put your foot down, you should be getting the feeling like being on an airplane applying full power taking off on the runway, feels like someone is pushing you from behind. This is my experience. It was 150 PS, 320 Nm Torque down to 110PS 200Nm Torque. Yours will be from 90PS & 175 Nm to 150PS & 250Nm, so yea..you will definately feel the added 'oomph.' My deficite was 40PS, yours is 60PS.

Yes. Huge. I have the previous gen 1.4 ecotsi 150bhp. Seriously it is rapid and very addictive. 0-60 in 7.6 seconds is quicker than most cars on the road that you will see on a daily basis. My Ibiza has embarrassed a lot of larger cars who thought it worth a little challenge. You will love it.

Does anyone know what the rear light 3 white LEDs are?? They’re on the right? Not reversing, can’t think of what they are or how they’d be turned on

Hopefully that should answer your question

I don’t understand why the turn signals and reverse aren’t LED, it’s just a weird decision from SEAT.

Can’t help thinking its planned obsolescence, so the FL can be ‘full LED’.

Well the pre-facelift Mk3 Leon was advertised with 'Full LED lights.' Everything is LED, except rear turn signals, and reverse, front/rear fog lights. On the new facelifted Leon with Full LEDs, everything is LED, except perhaps the rear fogs...not sure on that one. Perhaps they will reserve all LEDs for the Cupra Ibiza, or FR Sport / Xcellence Lux if it ever makes it to Ibiza.

i had a 2006 leon 2.0fsi 150bhp before this. i picked my ibiza evo 150 up 3 weeks ago and is a lot faster. a friend of mine dyno tested the evo 150 and it showed 2nd 3rd and 4th gear when turbo is on overboost it delivers 168bhp for periods going into the higher revs
