I have recently bought a Seat Ibiza 2007 sportstyle 1.6 16v ( Engine code BTS ) now i want to change the exhaust but i can only find stuff for the 1.4 16v are they the same or do i need a specific one for a 1.6 16v

i take it thats not a car in the uk then. i would suspect a 1.4 exhaust fitting a 1.6 anyway i cannot imagine them having a different diameter or a different route to the 1.4.
