New to the forum but have been reading for a while.
I’m a happy owner of an Ibiza FR 1.5tsi that I got earlier this year, however, I had to take it to the dealership recently as I had an issue with the stop/start system.
When using the system it wouldn’t start up again properly. It said “stop/start system error max engine speed 1200rpm” The ECP light also appeared.
I had to turn the engine off with the key and start up again to get it working again.
The dealership said they had updated the software on the ECP and all seems fine now.
Thought I’d share this in case anyone else has the same issue.
