Ibiza gti 16v 1999 exhaust fitment

do these cupra gti's share the same fitment for exhaust as mk3 golfs? or any other car? ie: could i buy a mk3 golf gti exhaust system to replace mine? ta

From my experience, the centre section can be used from a mk3, but the rear box and over axle bend is very similar to the 6n polo. I once tried a mk2 golf rear silencer. It cleared the axle with the up and over section, but then required shortening straight afterwards at the ~90 degree to mate to the centre section.

only a mk3 ibiza exhaust will fit a mk2! you wont have to bodge it like you would a mk3 golf!
