Since i bought that car, i knew that the boot lock is not locking. However, i could hear the motor engaging, when i remotely locked/unlocked the car.
Today i decided to open it and see what is wrong and i pulled the lock out.
I watched a video when a guy pulled out this same type of lock (with a different problem) and it looks like that the metal pin on mine is not in the right place and so is doing nothing. It might be that someone in the past has repaired this lock the wrong way. Other thing i noticed is that the pin stops moving, when the key is in vertical position and moves when the key is in the horizontal position, what is the opposite i should be expecting due to the owner's manual (where horizontal is locked). I tried to push the pin into place and also tried do disassemble the lock, but everything is so hard that i am afraid i would destroy something. What am i supposed to do with the lock (i dont have any experience with locks)?
