Is this some kind of record? Middle son and I went out to buy his first car. He started off wanting a Fiesta, then we looked and Swifts but... yip, he's bought an Ibiza! So we now have FOUR Seats in the family!!!

The family car is a 2014 Leon SE Tech

Eldest son has a black 2017 Ibiza Ecomotive Tech

A month ago I bought a 2016 Ibiza FR

And today my other son bought a 2015 Ibiza Copa

We should get shares in Seat or something. Irony is, every car bought from a Seat dealer but not one from our local dealer as they are always way out on price. Pays to shop around.

So can anyone else beat four Seats in the family at the one time? ;0)

Nice going. Can’t beat that. We have two in the family but have had 13 since 2000

Thirteen is good going, that's a lot. I don't really do long-term brand loyalty because things change. I had two Nissans but they don't make anything I fancy these days and as they are effectively controlled by Renault I doubt the quality is what it used to be. In fact I know it's not.

The Seats are the first VW-group cars we've had so the jury is out. None of them are old enough to really know how they stack up on reliability but I guess with four of them, we'll get a pretty good idea.

Im sure you will. You’ll probably get bulk discount on servicing too.

I don't dealer service cars beyond the warranty. They charge over a hundred-quid to fit thirty-pounds worth of parts.
