I’ve got a mk1 Leon and it’s due mot on the 18th and the left telltale light isn’t working on the dashboard but the indicators themselves are has anyone got a way to fix this or know what wrong with it?

They are surface mount LED's not easily fixable. I think under the new Mot rules that it would only be classed as a 'Minor' defect so should pass anyway. You maybe be able to get one of these 'dash cluster repair' companies to sort it, but as the immo is in the dash cluster, you won't be able to drive the car with it removed.

Bought a green led off eBay yesterday and thinking about rewiring it to the top of the dash just to be safe.

Thanks for the help

The right one is out on my the dash and nothing was said about it during my MOT in March.

My understanding is the clicking relay covers the left or right tell-tale. But the hazard warning switch must light up.
