Hi friends. I have the idea to install/upgrade my ABS to ASR (TCS) and i almost did it. I have few friends did this to their VW Golf3 and 4 and everything there is equal.
But i was wondering did someone did it on Leon/Toledo 1M ?
There are few wiring procedures, but i suspect thet there is difference between TCS button switch, also wiring colors, so before i cut anything i need your help :)

A pin out or wiring diagram of instrument cluster will be appreciated! Thanks!

I believe it depends on car equipment class. As LCR are higjer class it has most extras, but the point is to find out, to which pin on instrument cluster I must connect TCS switch. Everything else is easy but that one is tkaing me a lot time to figure out!

It can be checked with multimeter also, The connection from switch must be direct to the pin, so it is easy to check it, but .... anyone ?

Today i started the procedure, as it is descibed for Golf4, but as I expected- it didn't worked!

Most imaportant now is to find someone with Leon/Toledo 1M WITH TCS, but also with this model of instruments cluster:
$_57.JPG

It has TCS indication, but i can't make it light up- i don't know the pin for it ! So out there must be a cars with that dash cluster and TCS/ASR !!!

I need dash cluster coding code, also ABS/ASR Coding code !

PLEASE !

P.s: Even if guys with TCS but othed dash cluster give me that codings info- will be most appreciated !!!!

I would recomend you to get all parts needed from same car, specially the electrical connections.
This will help you a lot and you will have less troubles with this.
If i where you i wouldn't change the instrument cluster, unless you would change to a full FIS from Golf4 adapted to the Leon.
I have some of those instrument clusters ready to sell and apply lots of them.
If you prefer one of this, let me a pm ;)http://leiria-leiria.olx.pt/quadran...lf-4-bora-passat-3bg-audi-a3-8l-iid-449852161

Well it seems that SEAT didn't equipped their cars with TCS until february 1999. And whaen they start using TCS- it is the model MK20 and MK60 but allways with T47pin Connector. While in 1998 till 2001 a lot WV has equipped their cars with MK20 T25pin connector TCS/ASR module.
So there is no option for taking all stuff from other car, unless i try to fit wiring harness with T47 PIN connector and other TCS module referring to SEAT manuals.

There is other option. Few WV Golf4 was having the same problem like me. But after changing ECU Firmware- they got everything working! So there is software restrictions for using TCS. It is "locked" in ECU firmware.

The clusters here in BG are so cheap, that i bought 1 from Seat leon 2001, and 1 from Golf4 Half fis, BOTH for 15 euro. Working perfect in very good condition.
BUT whe wiring pins are different form my cluster , so next step will be to rearrange pins on the connectors.

And meanwhile i'm looking for other ECU, from car with TCS, to try if it will work ok.

For now, i recoded ABS/TCS module to 13204 which is coding for ABS/EDS- so i have diff block working fine.
