Insurance for our new FR

Hello folks,

Firstly apologies if this should be on another part of the forum.

I'm new around here but we're about to order our black FR TDI. It's been a few years since we've had insurance (our Ibiza 130 Sport was a lease car). Can anyone recommend some decent (and by that I mean good service and reasonable price) insurance companies where we should start to get quotes?

I used to be a ClubGTI member and that sometimes got me lower premiums, is there a similar club for Seats that might get me similar treatment?

im using swift as im only 6 months through but they seemed quite reasonable on a new quote, £280 it was fully comp. but i got 11yrs no claims to assist, + im 33.

plenty of companies to choose from, its just a case of ringing as many as you can, We seem to be getting some good deals from greenlight, so it might be worth a call to them.

Thanks so far guys. That's very useful.

I've been with Greenlight before (for my heavily modified golf gti and corrado 16v), they were reasonable to deal with.
