trying to mate its stu pots one seems a solid build just gonna get one or two pipes welded try make it a bit less prone to pipes popping off, not going out in the snow to build it just now so can be patient for the right set up

I have just done an intercooler upgrade on my LCR about 6 months ago. My cooler was similar to the one above mine was 230mm high not 180mm. Didn't require any cutting, pretty simple, hardest bit was getting the bumper back on, even that is pretty simple one you figure it out. Used the t-bolts http://www.intricoproducts.com/mikalor.jpg, and tightened them up nice and tight, havent had any problems with hoses coming off, checked them all after 2 months and non have shifted.

i looked at a few intercoolers with that and wasnt sure if it would affect performance at all, there doesnt seem to be as many intercoolers for sale as there was last time i looked dunno why, i bought the silicon and clamps as i got an amazing buy for the lot, gone with blue hoses on red LCR

Yeah Liquid weld it awesome stuff..Im currently doing my pipe work in it all..

As for the FMIC i mounted mine the other day and tbh the width is the maxium you could get on a lcr without loosing the Fogs but as u can see it can be alot higher mines 70mm thick with 76mm outtakes..

This is mine, its the widest you can get, i had to trim the bumper either side to get it to fit you cant see any of the trimming when fitted, i have removed the fogs and now have air feed from the holes to the air filter.
