Intercooler pic wanted

Anyone got a pic of the intercooler on there 2l tdi fr 170. I read it's a fmic but unless it's between the rad and aircon rad then I can't see it. It is is then it must be very thin.

Yea it is.

The rad, intercooler and AC condenser form a sandwich, not sure if you can remove one without taking the others out?

So if I was to change to a new Fmic it would be wise to leave the old one in situ just disconnected

Well most people fit the S3 intercooler because it's larger but still fits in the stock position.

If you want to go for a larger bumper mounted FMIC, you could in theory leave the original in place.
So long as it doesn't get in the way of the new pipes.
