Interior Lighting

Hi, I’ve had a search but only found snippets of information on what I’m looking for. I’d like to upgrade the interior lighting on my pre FL MK2 to white light and in the future also add some ambient LED lighting in the footwells.

Few questions I’m hoping someone can help with:

- Which bulbs are required for the interior?

- What’s this CAMBUS I hear of and are CAMBUS bulbs required?

- What’s the best way of wiring footwell lighting? I have seen on the forum that someone used USB but I’m sure there must be an existing live that they can be wired to.

- Anyone done it on their own Leon and is it worth doing?

I should have all the info you need...

For the footwells I did a guide to install using your lights to turn them on and off but it looks like the pictures are dead so I'll have a look to see if I can bring it to life later

The footwells look awesome at night but depending on the colour could look like a brothel lol

The interior lights is a must I think.

Also for the footwell install make sure you read all the comments as they help with slight changes for auto lights etc
