Interior Lights 12 V Supply Help!!

Im looking to add white led strip lights to the door cards, and want to power them off the interior lights. So they come on with the doors being opened or the remote used.

BUT i cant find a 12v supply.
I tried in the drivers side A Pillar first and didnt find a 12v off the door being opened so i went direct to the front interior light fitting. Pulling it out there is a cable with 3 pins/cables. Blue/RedBlack/Brown

With lights off Brown is 0 volts (earth) and both the others are 12v. With lights on the Blue goes to millivolts the other stays at 12v (perm live)

Id expect the blue to work the other way round n it would be easy so nothing with the lights off and 12v when they came on. So i dont get that at all.

Can anyone help with this or tell me where to locate a cbale that runs 12v with the interior lights activated.?

The interior lights always have 12v going to them. They work on a switched negative system, so it actually switches the earth when you open the doors etc. Its a useless system if you want to add to it
