Yeh i was thinking about that! or drilling a small hole into it and left hand thread tapping it out and screwing something in it, so i can screw it out!

We shall see, luckily im a materials engineer so i know the failure mechanism, it is a fatigue failure, so at some point it has probably been lose and fataigued itself through the bolt at the 1st engaged thread!

Throws some caution towards the the rest of the bolts, think i will replace them all now!

They where hard bolts as well 10.9(high alloy steel) so there not **** bolts!

Think i have figured out what it was, as the wheels are not the correct fitment, they needed spigot rings on the wheels!

However, there where spigot rings, thus putting all the wheels force on the Bolts themselves, thus causing the fatigue failure i have seen, after looking under the micrscope at all the other bolts, they have hairline fractures on the 1st engaged thread along the pitch of the thread, indicating further failures in other bolts!

Glad i caught it as it could have been abit of a mess if i lost my wheel!

anyone got an idea on the best place to buy aftermarket bolts, i have sourced some appropriate spigot rings!

Thanks in advance!

Also is the O.D of the hub on the ibiza 57.1?

Disaster averted!

Drilled the bolt out last night, replaced all wheel bolts and caused no damage to anything!

I decided to machine up my own spigot rings, as i had a oz one as a template! all perfect!!

Happy days!

i sorted out the hole in the exhaust, i replaced the section and now, no more blowing!

I will update with photos tomorrow of the wheel progess and further car pics!

I decided to start by sticking to what i know, ford graphite grey is what i used before, so i have used it again!!

I might be having a red band around them though! not sure!

Also ordered some black vinyl for the roof and spoiler!

Hopefully, that looks good!

Sounds good

Ive always liked cars with the black roof etc, seems to go well with any colour car imo so that should look good!

Shame i cant have the option though as mines all black
