Had a problem with the fuse melting inside the fuse box, replaced the fan and resisitor pack and was fine for around a month.

started melting again, had a look at the box and all of the plastic around the fuse slot has melted quite badly,

does anyone know where i could locate a match for 2007 2.0tdi sports refrence?

or could the fuse that controls the fan be moved elsewhere inside the fuse box in the many unused slots

Located a fuse box, rang local car electrics and they said to get a new fusebox and bring it in for repair (y) they can check the wiring for other damages before a new box goes on

The burnt terminals that hold the fuse will at least need replaced. When they blacken they will cause a high resistance and overheat the fuse.
