Fitted the Fabia VRS front ARB today............ :funk:

have to say, for £60 and at least an hour  its a very worthy upgrade! :D
as the Sport ARB is 17 / 18mm and the VRS is 21mm, it's suprising the difference how much better it handles!
it has reduced the amount of roll by at least half if not more!:)
the front end feels so much more solid and planted which obviously increases confidence whilst cornering ! :funk:

you do need to drop the subframe, but only about 20mm (ish) to lift the one end of the ARB over to get it out.
this is held on with 6 bolts, and the use of a trolley jack to support the subframe / engine
you will need a pal at the other end ;) because its hard work threading the new ARB through.

not sure if it would be a noticable difference on a cupra but i can definately reccomend it for a sport! :D

If the eibach kit has a front arb which is 23mm then it should give the cupra a similar improvement, as the std cupra one is only 20mm, so by going up to 23mm the increase in size is almost the same as a sport being fitted with a vrs arb! :D

So is the kit 23mm for the front and rear arb's then mate? You'll have to let us know what kind of a difference it makes when you have had them fitted! :)

i suppose, theoretically, but TBH, with the VRS front ARB there isn't much body roll that needs to be got rid of ;), only when you are really chucking it around!

i should imagine that the eibach ARB makes it solid up front, understeer maybe:shrug:

Thats the only thing which worries me about the eibach front arb, the possibility of it being too stiff and suffering from chronic understeer! Waiting for someone on here to do it and see what the results are! :D

i assume its possible to just swap the rear? with regards to the front is it likely to cause any problems with the std seat strut brace?

i have no idea about the thickness but i thought why not lol i wonder how much my insurance will go up due to this? lol

my insurance didn't go up when i declared the jabba rear ARB.

my insurance only went up when i declared the remap!

i may be wrong but i think they increase premiums when you increase power, as mine hasn't gone up to any of my mods which incluede Koni's, Alloys, ARB's, TT brakes, panel filter and have enquired for when my milltek goes on and even that isn't going to add to my premium.

There is no standard rear anti rollbar on any of the ibiza's, its a case of just bolt one on! Its supposed to really stiffen the rear end up and improve stability!

The seat strutbrace isn't standard either its an aftermarket fitment, and seeing as the strutbrace goes accross the suspension strut tops under the bonnet, and the antiroll bar goes across the bottom of the suspension there is no chance of it causing any problems!

The eihbach is only for the front-im sure?? i only asked them last week, about £130 for the 23mm bar.
Im going for the Jabba rear 24mm ARB.....Let me know if im wrong.........would be interested to know.
Std front ARB, strut brace, Jabba rear ARB, 20mm Eiihbach rear spacers + good tyers, my best setup so far?

Sorry its taking so long but we will finally get there." what is that all about? making the bushes surly eibech should be doing that?
