Right well I spent this morning removing the front ARB in preparation for the new R32 ARB coming Monday, ended up having to drop the front subframe slightly as there isn't enough clearance to wiggle the ARB free, no biggy will just need to get the geometry done when it's all finished.

Picture of the old (rusty) ARB. bushes where shot as well.

God I hate snow, braved the weather in the 306 earlier to get to the gym as I find it impossible to stay at home all day with nothing to do. Going to do my best to get to AmD tomorrow, what would normally take 1 hour I'm going to allow for 2, which means I'm up at 6:30. Picking my r32 ARB up tomorrow as well. Go away snow.....

Brave man James ;)

Will be worth the effort I'm sure.

Out of interest, where did you get your R32 ARB and how much with which bushes etc?

I'm not going to let a small bit of snow stop me :)

I think it was around £90 with e bushes etc, it's 23mm which is big enough for the front, going to get a 25mm rear I think.

I got it from TPS with my discount :p

That is cheap mate! How comes so much discount?!

23mm is what I'm going for but I may get the Eibach one as that's what I've got at the rear.

Got 25% discount as I'm quite friendly with a guy there and ive bought a lot of stuff from there as well over the past few months.

Can't see the ARB once it's on mate, but I know what you mean :)

Car is coming along very well mate. What are the next couple of weeks' plans? Reckon she'll make AmD or is that too soon?

Just need to align everything now and start bolting it all back together. :D

What a nightmare day I have had, been away for work and been stuck in an airport with a 7 hour delay!!

Had a text today saying that there is a nice parcel at home waiting for me which is my SEM manifold and vband clamps :)

Can't wait to work on the car a bit more this weekend , going to try and get the install further underway just need to get the pipework finished and then get a DP made then can fire her up!!

Don't you worry graham it's all underway :)

I managed to get the engine back in the car on sunday, and have been away with work since monday and haven't had a chance to even lift the bonnet. I'm going to be working on the car night and day this weekend to try and get as much done as possible. I've got a small clearance issue at the moment with the gearbox linkage and the Tial wastegate.

Going to try and work a soloution out to make it all fit, it's tight as a nuns chuff but should fit with a bit of "assistance".

Hopeing to have all the engine back in and front end back on this weekend although my F8cking vband clamps still aren't here so I can't make up the oil and coolant lines. :S

James, what DV will you be using on this?
Will your 007 be able to release the volume of air you've compressed.
Robdon used and was recommended a 006 on his GT2860 and Oistein uses a forge supersize valve on his billet GT3071

I will probably use the forge supersize valve mate, asking a lot of 25mm port when pushing this much air.....
