First impressions are good. No loss of low down torque which I thought I might get with a hi flow manifold, boost is held a lot longer at high rpms than before. Can now hold near 24 PSI to the red line where before it was just under 19.

Unfortunately I haven't had much time to test as the car is in for repair due to an earlier accident. Also have an odd problem with #2 missfire every time I go over 6k.

Once I get the car back and fix the missfire I'll be able to give a better review

Yeah I'm running HKS EVC 6

Car is an 04 LCR, JBS05, Forge FMIC, wmi, CC 3, 3" turbo back with decat. 550CC Injectors

EGT's int o the 900's and its just stareting to fuel dump. what gear did you do the logs in jon?

not sure these are JBS's logs, I'll post up my own logs up in a bit.

You mean MAF readings are showing less? Not sure why that is I'm sure I used to get nearly 250g/s.

Can you remember what my previous ones were from the weekend? I though it was around 220

as far as I know yeah, I have other logs from the drive home but they are blocks 020 & 031 and 020 & 115. I'll do some more logs when I get it back from the bodyshop.

I'm fairly sure my maf is knackered so will try and test with a spare

interestingly block 120 torque matched airflow 1.2 x g/s for power - low numbers tho on both of them

hrm, I'm deffo seeing more boost, just weird that airflow is less.

Unless I have a leak and its sucking in air the maf doesn't know about

in the comparisons, the later runs with new mani, run hotter and show less airflow, neither makes sense..
wildwillys see's 250g/s as does wellys, and speedysteves hybrid even more than that

be interesting to see the logs you get yourself.

Once I get the car back from the bodyshop and changed the coilpacks I'll do some more logs. Also if anyone in the cov area has a MAF I could borrow for an hour to check if mine is faulty let me know :)

Boost, EGT's, MAF and Timing

First impressions are good. No loss of low down torque which I thought I might get with a hi flow manifold, boost is held a lot longer at high rpms than before. Can now hold near 24 PSI to the red line where before it was just under 19.
Unfortunately I haven't had much time to test as the car is in for repair due to an earlier accident. Also have an odd problem with #2 missfire every time I go over 6k.

Once I get the car back and fix the missfire I'll be able to give a better review

Iv been waiting for JBS to release this manifold for aaaaages it feels, anyway, what are your initial thoughts? despite what you have said above the logs don't seam to add up?! :blink:

Have you sorted your problems out? and what more do you have to say about the manifold? definitely a worth while mod? does the car pull much harder with it? do you think it was worth the money?

Initial thoughts were good, held boost well and seemed to have more torque up top but as said previously missfires etc stopped any further testing.

Still haven't got the car back (in a fight with insurance co over alloy wheels).

When I get it back I'll get the niggles sorted and then post up some more logs and hopefully dyno runs. It's all to easy to convince yourself your car is faster because you've spent money on it I'd rather have hard facts. That being said it was definately holding more boost up top (or at least thats what my boost controller was reporting)

I was happing to get it mapped to its full potential but I've hit a snag there as well (always seems to be my luck, lol)

As for JBS I think there section was removed about 3 weeks ago as they are no longer a sponsor.
