just before 4krpm in 4th on dyno load full boost on lupo.. Its got a clipped turbine remember to slow its spool and avoid surge

well its cos she missed the torque from my on/off n75 switch i gave her previously that I got the boost controller...
it was 10psi before.... so minimal torque, so now its got low boost and high boost... and high boost will scare her... so it will live at 280bhp i think. until i get at it...

its working very well... better than an mbc as it does'nt taper off boost like they do

I replied to your email last week regarding purchasing one Hybrid+ turbo, did you get the email?
My question was, have you had any experience installing these turbos to 4WD cars? I have a Audi A3 1.8T quattro which has the transferbox directly under the compressor housing. Basically the same as the Audi S3, but with a 180hp engine. Also the gear linkage might get in the way if using your 80mm TIP.

I have'nt used one on a 4wd car myself yet no.. so canot speak 1st hand re clearances.
I would be surprised if the unit fouled the transfer box tho. hotside is same as before outside, only the compressor cover is slightly larger, being the k04 one.
Have you had a look at the 1st page posts where I took pictures of it on a head? Do they help you compare sizes relative to the head at all?
Hi still have normal K03 hybrid, and then there this one the 2283 version..
Different animals, and require different additional mods.. so both is the answer.
comparing the spool between unclipped and clipped the spool is slower by 500rpms or so approx, which does eliminate the surge you otherwise would get asking for more than 22psi before 4krpm...
If choosing a non clipped version, tailed in boost control relative to rpm would be required to skirt around the surge. Points to remember.
