Key stuck in ignition - engine on.

Hey folks. Just pulled in halfway through a long drive and the key is stuck in the ignition. I can't switch the engine off at or remove the key. Any suggestions

If you have a manual gearbox you can always stall the car that at least will stop the engine, but then you may have a problem starting it again.
