Well it has to be said I have two SEATs sat on my drive and am within Kings catchment area, but after reading all the things that have been said about them i'm not going to be taking either of our Cupras to them for servicing or anything else.

So as said before, unless they start bucking their ideas up it's gonna start getting mighty difficult in the future when they find themselves with no repeat business and little new buisiness coming through the door.

they wont even look at your car? we're brittish! its our god given right to complain if service isnt up to scratch. if anything a compalining customer is an asset to a business because it helps identify troublesome areas that need improvement!!

it's now an unwritten law ypu can't tell any corporate/business anything they don't want to hear. They basically exist to extract cash for shareholders / dividend holders, NOT to serve us!

Hi there,

I recently brought an ex company car, leon cupra tdi. Not long before it was serviced at kings. It had also had the all the disc's and pads changed. After having a quick check at home. I found that there was no retaining screws in the front discs and they had left the brake fluid reservoir cap off. How hard is to change such simple parts, it only takes 5 minutes to have a quick check over everything. I'm not even a mechanic and could do a better job, actually a IT technician. Now i'm going to have a good look over the whole car for any more errors.

i would like to say something positive about kings parts depatment at portsmouth..

they are very friendly, well mannered and give great service. i have ordered so many parts from them and they have always arrived before they should have :)

i'll ditto the above comment on the parts. the same applies to north baddesly.

after experiencing so many issues since buying my leon from them (and we're talking a staggering amount of stupid occurances) i had a meeting with one of snow's directors in january and we came to some agreements which at the time i looked upon very favourably and alot of the 'physical' issues were put right the following week. Since then i've had yet more issues. but what i took away from the discussion is that they are making efforts to establish where theyre going wrong and try to sort the utter mess out!! so long as people make the powers that be aware of what is going on. I'm confident enough that theyre sortging things out (even with everything in mind) that when its service time they will 95% get my business.

i have to say that if it wasnt for the poor customer service alot of the 20+ 'physical' issues wouldnt be so significant in my mind. but then i guess it wouldnt have happened in the first place would it!!??.

and in answer to yourself davescupratdi, alot of my issues were down to the car having work done and not put back together properly so your not alone. particularly frustrating when you conisder the safety issues assosciated with what happened to you.

I think after reading all the comments on here.. when the times comes for the service on my K1 .. Think i will take it to JKM. :)

I dont think anyone is actually going to risk taking their car to KINGS to see if their service has improved?

The car is booked in on Tuesday for an initial inspection and then will need rebooking if the part is required.

Sorry i forgot to give an update about the Brake Servo Vacume Hose recall, thankfully it has already been carried out by another dealership. As for the service, i found it rather hostile as last time i went in i had a rather large moan about my cambelt. Found the Service Manager rather arrogant. So not very impressed, as i went in with an open mind and also took along a friend but unfortunately i cannot repeat his views on the forum as they are rather abusive lol. I have to say that i wouldnt go there unless it was absolutely nessisary lol

Glad to hear your experience was better than the most lol. I have to say a good friend of mine has recently become the workshop manager lol and assures me that significant changes have happened and keeps trying to convince me :blahblah:

Lets hope they have turned over a new leaf
