LCR Mirror instructions

I have managed to find a wing mirror for my LCR, but I am now after some guidance on how to remove the old one and fit the new one.

Any help appreciated!

I've only ever removed the covers but they just clip on and off, remove two screws on the underside of the mirror then they slide up and out (away from the car). The cover is retained by a series of plastic grooves etc that you prise apart as the cover slides off, be careful if you use a screwdriver or something not to scratch the paint.

With the cover off the electrics and mirror chasis are exposed.

also in need of advice on this as i brought my new one today
