ive seen a cool steering wheel but it doesnt have an airbag, i know i will have to put a resistor in the circuit to stop the light coming on, is there anyone to give good and bad points for doing this, not having an airbag is a bad thing but i have read that they can cause serious damage in cerain cases.

what do you recon?

cheers for the imput

Airbag has saved me once before in a 120mph crash. I couldn't imagine what would have happened to my head at that speed if it had bounced off a solid steering wheel!

The only way i'd ditch my airbag was if i had bucket racing seats with 3/5 point harnesses.

I'll try and find some pics for you where the airbag and roof were splattered with my blood and you may think twice

Edited for inclusion of pics......

airbag is more likely to save your life than not.

Anyone that says different comes from the same group of people that say smoking doesn't cause cancer & that kids and guns mix.

And you're right - the only time I'd not have one would be if I was in my bucket with harness (no chance of moving then)
