depends how you attach them to the car.
dont be stingly and use some itiative when you fit them and all will be well.

Id use 3m pads or the like, id not want to pay out for nice looking plates and then screw them on ruining them

Everytime I use 3m pads my number plate falls off. Now I use the "no more nails" tape lol

I just use sticky pads and they work a treat :). i love my legal plates and have never had a problem with them.
You can also get number plate surrounds which screw into your usual number plate holes and these can hold your pressed plates without screwing them. I agree it seems a shame to put screws through them. Not sure how the surrounds are with rattling though.

also if you dont fancy sending your V5 off, dubmeister attend most shows so will check your v5 there and then send you the plates. (they dont make them at the shows)

seeing a hell of a lot of chavvy motors rocking pressed plates now..

dont think its long before they tip the other way.
